The //Khara Hais Municipality recently won PMR awards in the following categories:

• Gold for Municipalities doing the most for job creation.
• Diamond for Municipalities doing the most for social upliftment.
• Gold for Municipalities doing the most to attract foreign investment.
• Diamond for Municipalities doing the most to attract local investment.
• Diamond for Municipalities doing the most to attract tourism.
• Gold for Municipalities doing the most to clean the environment.
• Diamond for Municipalities doing the most to fight crime.

The Mayor of //Khara Hais, Me Limakatso Koloi would like to thank the staff, the councillors and the community for assisting the Municipality in winning the awards. ‘ We are like a three legged pot, the staff, the councillors and the community should together to build better communities,’ she said.
