An application need to be send to the Traffic department of the Dawid Kruiper municipality

The application will then be send to the municipal manager for consideration
Applications for the weekend closes on Thursdays
No funeral escorts are approved for weekends
Applications for funeral escorts can only be approved for assistance during the week from 7h30 until 16h30
At the back of the application form it is stated that the residents in the street should give consent for the closure of the street for the duration of the church services
In the application form the ward councillor should also recommend
The street can only be closed for the duration of the services and on the day of the funeral
A tent should not affect the traffic flow and it should not be erected in the street
No tent pole holes should be made on the tar
The applicant can cordon off the area for services/burial with their own danger tape. The municipality can only provide danger tape if it is available
If the application is approved, the applicant can only close the street with the guidance of the traffic department of the municipality
The applicant will be informed when the application is approved or not
The applicant must be in possession of an approved application in case if it is needed or requested
